I do regret not being more clear-headed in the interview when it came to the “alt-left” discussion. The guy who called in was right – there is no alt-left. It would have been a good opportunity to talk about the antifa movement, and the idea of combating fascists with their own tactics.

Maybe a little sensitive because of what Trump said about the “many sides.” But I think a lot of people would see where you were coming from. While in a completely different league from the alt-right, sometimes people on the left spread hate and judgment as well and detract from the strength of the left in its ability to make progress.
